About Bowles Vehicle Repair
BVR (originally named Brian Bowles Accident Repair Centre), was founded in 1970 by Brian Bowles in the small Leicestershire village of Huncote. Quickly gaining a loyal following, it outgrew the first site and was relocated to nearby Narborough in 1983.
Over the years, Brian Bowles ARC built an enviable reputation as the repairer of choice for many insurers, as well as private customers. This success is down to its roots as a family business and the personal touch it provides compared to larger national companies that have to push work through as fast as possible in order to meet targets.
In 2017 Brian decided to retire, and the business was taken over by businessmen Ron Gould and Keith Sandow. The company recently rebranded to BVR (“Bowles Vehicle Repair”) but still legally trades as BBVBR Ltd t/a Brian Bowles ARC. The change in ownership and subsequent rebrand hasn’t changed the company’s fundamental ethos of always putting customer satisfaction and quality of repair above all else.
The new ownership has also given a fresh lease of life to the business with significant investment, including relocation to larger, custom built premises and the purchase of three brand new ovens. We believe in continually investing in new equipment and technology to keep up with the complexity of the latest generation vehicles. Our staff (many of whom have been with us for over 10 years) are highly motivated and this motivation is maintained by offering them training at every opportunity to ensure that they have the confidence to deal with the ever-increasing technological challenges that they face.
